INSTRUCTIONS

 

This is a test website built using the Wix Editor to showcase pincode-based restriction for your bookings and products. Currently, it is configured to accept only one of the three UK pincodes stated below:

Try entering any random pincode and it will display an alert on the checkout page stating that

​

"the service is not available at your pincode"

​

This alert message is fully customisable and can be changed to anything we like, for example: Sorry! We are not available at your location. Note that it will also disable the PLACE ORDER button, not allowing the user to proceed with the payment and booking the service. Only when you have entered one of the three pincodes mentioned above will it enable and the user will be able to make the booking.

This is just a test site. Do not enter real names, emails, phones or addresses. Feel free to play around with dummy data. The sole purpose of this is to demonstrate how pincode restrictions can be implemented for Wix Bookings. For now, it is only 3 pincodes that are accepted - but we can have an infinite number of pincodes that the code can check against and display the alert if it isn't part of the list.

This is just the start - we can also have automatic, real-time distance based calculation from the location of your business to the customer's address and which would allow us to have a distance based validation.
